Portland streets are on a grid and they adhere to it with remarkable stride. Its not uncommon to find a walkway where a street should be and these almost hidden paths are some of my favorite…. traverseries? (That can’t be a word.) Whatever.
These hidden paths are just another thing I love about this city. My favorite among these paths is SE 36th Ave.
